Paulo Figueiredo is known for his work on the JP News TV channel and for being a co-host of the show Os Pingos nos Is ("The dots on the Is"), a top-rated program during its time slot and awarded the best political show in the country for three consecutive years by popular vote.
Figueiredo reaches over 4 million people on his social media with over 1.3 million followers on Twitter and over 1 million subscribers to his YouTube channel. In December 2022, Paulo was one of the journalists targeted by the Brazilian Supreme Court, which labeled his opinions as a "danger to democracy." The Court decided to block his social media accounts in the country, freeze all his financial assets, impose a fine each time he spoke about topics considered "anti-democratic," and ordered the cancellation of his passport.
