Andrew Roberts
Andrew Roberts is a distinguished historian and author. He has appeared on radio and television around the world, and has lectured at Yale, Princeton, Stanford, and the White House. His book, Masters and Commanders: How Four Titans Won the War in the West, 1941-1945 was shortlisted for two of Britain’s top military history prizes. His 1999 biography of Robert Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Salisbury, won the Wolfson History Prize and the James Stern Silver Pen Award for Non-Fiction. Dr. Roberts writes regularly for The Sunday Telegraph, and his essays have appeared in The Spectator, Literary Review, Mail on Sunday and the Wall Street Journal.
