Axel Kaiser is a Chilean-German lawyer, best-selling author, financial columnist, and political analyst. He is currently the Executive Director of the Fundación para el Progreso, one of the most influential think tanks in Latin America. He holds the Friedrich von Hayek Chair at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Santiago de Chile since 2016.

Axel holds two master’s degrees and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Heidelberg, Germany.
