“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” came out last week and has many LGBTQ influencers and news outlets buzzing about the inclusion of a “Protect Trans Kids” flag in the bedroom of one of the movie's heroes: Gwen Stacy, aka Ghost-Spider. They’re claiming this as “evidence” that her story is a metaphor for trans people. Are they making things up, or is there clearly some kind of agenda here? Let’s get into it.
